In addition to his grandmother, Yoshi has a sister, Mizzi, who is very brave and quite mischievous. Yoshi decides to scare her with a homemade ghost. It turns out that the curse Yoshi invented is actually an ancient reviving spell. This is how the Scarecrow is born - a small and rather capricious ghost, which causes more trouble than fear.
