It’s bad if we don’t notice the injustice around us, someone’s grief, the homeless, the homeless. It’s even worse if they are children and if we pass by. And in the story it’s almost like that, but Genka Maltsev, the orchestra’s trombonist, didn’t pass by. Unexpectedly for all the musicians of the orchestra, he took abandoned, homeless boys (Red - 10 years old, Corkscrew - 7 years old) into his home, into his family. He washed him, fed him... This act was assessed differently in the orchestra and in the Maltsev family. My wife, Alla, left immediately and categorically (I’m disdainful. They’re dirty, they smoke, they swear...), there was complete discord in the orchestra (the contract musicians almost even got into a fight). And the “offended” market owner, in hysterics, demanded that the boys be returned at any cost. Against all odds, the orchestra musicians get to know the boys. The boys are delighted with music, musical instruments and “uncles” - musicians. They made a categorical promise not to smoke, not to swear, to speak only the “correct” words... The conductor, lieutenant, together with the orchestra musicians, decide to consider the boys as pupils, assigning a mentor to each of them. The regiment commander finds the orchestra doing one of these activities, and after listening to the arguments of the conductor and contract soldiers, he agrees to leave the boys in the regiment... Nevertheless, Azamat’s hysterical demands force the head of the market security to act more aggressively. Maltsev and Kobzev sensed danger for the boys. They share their concerns with Sanka Kobzev’s wife, Elena, a captain and an investigator at the city prosecutor’s office. Heydar decides to carry out the “master’s” task in a radical way. He brings in his longtime agent for this. An explosion occurs, but not there and not like that. Although there were many wounded at McDonald's, both children and adults, the orchestra students, Genka and Nikita, were not injured, but Maltsev and Kobzev ended up in intensive care. But Elena, the wife of Sanka Kobzev, an investigator at the prosecutor’s office, is sure that her department will arrest the criminals... Maltsev’s wife, Alla, asks for forgiveness from the boys and her husband... But the boys’ parents, even after a year, do not consider it necessary to see their children...
