Simple and unimaginative, jealous and inhuman, oppressed and narrow-minded, power-hungry and bloodthirsty, insatiable and suspicious, which first grinds and then with lust eats all the members of one noble Soviet family, along with their future, hopes, destinies and beliefs. The story is told on behalf of the youngest of the daughters, Dasha. She was not an ordinary child; Dasha began speaking at the age of eleven. But the girl saw and experienced all the tragedies along with the rest of her family. She has already grown up and even managed to have her own family and child. But despite this, the tragic past still torments the young mother and does not want to let her go. And then, one sleepless night, while caring for her little daughter, Dasha, despite her fear and anxiety, decides to plunge into the abyss of her difficult memories. And through the prism of either a dream or a girl’s fantasies, we are immersed in the mystical, creepy and at the same time charming and beautiful world of her difficult past.
