The main character is one of the few surviving sighted people, forced to fight for survival in a world where, for reasons unknown to him, blind people dominate, whom he calls moles. His existence is an almost continuous flight. During his short life, he managed to lose his senior companion, who taught him everything he needed to survive, became his spiritual father and planted in his naive soul the seed of a dream of an earthly paradise for the sighted. Since then, his goal has been to leave the mainland inhabited by the blind and get to the island, where, according to legend, he can finally return to a “normal” existence. But on this path he will have to fight moles, sighted madmen, and also overcome numerous obstacles, including the intervention of otherworldly forces.
