I know that all meetings in life are not accidental. Once I discovered the work of Joseph Brodsky, I found a like-minded person. This book is a collection of my stories and poems - reflections on the meaning of life. The search for the meaning of life always leads to thoughts about God. For me, God is the soul and conscience of the Earth, it is love. He is not in the heavens, but lives in the heart of every being. God is the creator, we are his children, created in his image and likeness, which means we can become equal to him. What prevents this? I think we need to grow up, understand and accept the lessons of history, open our hearts to love - merciful and forgiving. And how can we understand ourselves and Brodsky without Venice and St. Petersburg? Two cities connected by sea and time. And of course - the sea, for me this is not just a part of life, it is freedom of contemplation, the magic of space.
