On Christmas Day 1893, the entire population of the small mining town of Abandon in the Colorado mountains disappeared without a trace. All the men, women and children seemed to evaporate, leaving the festive tables laid in their cold houses. The search group sent to search for people did not return. The mystery of Abandon remained unsolved, and people called it a cursed city. And so, one hundred and thirty years later, a new group gathered in those parts, led by a history professor and his journalist daughter. Now, among the abandoned ruins and snowy silence of the mountains, they are trying to find at least some trace leading to the solution. They still have no idea that they are not alone here. And that the past of the dead city is more than alive...
