Spanish planter Antonio Benavides secretly arrives in Port Royal, where he negotiates with his business partner Collins to smuggle a shipment of African slaves into Cuba. After the Spaniard leaves, Collins calls the captain of the filibusters Rock the Brazilian, his agent and debtor, and invites him to intercept Benavidez’s ship, which should deliver to a designated place a large sum of money intended to pay for black slaves. When a ship commanded by Miguel Benavides, son of Don Antonio, appears in the waters of Mosquito Island, it is captured by the Brazilian's gang. The pirates demand a ransom for the captive Spaniards, but due to a tragic accident, the money is not delivered on time, and the Brazilian kills Miguel Benavidez and his entire family. However, fate always rewards what it deserves...
