This volume is dedicated to an outstanding thinker, a representative of the Russian philosophical tradition of the first half of the 20th century - Sergei Nikolaevich Bulgakov (1871–1944), who made an impressive journey from a “legal” Marxist to a priest and theologian in “Russian Paris”. His philosophical, theological, sociological, political and economic ideas today continue to arouse great interest and at the same time heated debate both in Russia and abroad. The volume contains articles by modern philosophers, religious scholars, and literary scholars, in which the intellectual heritage of S. N. Bulgakov is updated. A number of articles are devoted to his personality and fate, which expresses all the tragic events of the first half of the twentieth century. The book is addressed to a wide range of readers interested in philosophy, social and religious Christian thought, the history of Russian emigration in Europe. Автори зібрали в одному томі велику кількість статей, які глибоко аналізують ідеї Сергія Миколайовича Булгакова, його шлях від марксизму до священства, а також його вплив на сучасну думку. Кожна стаття відкриває нові грані його особистості та творчості, зокрема, як його думки відображають трагічні події першої половини ХХ століття. Книга написана зрозумілою мовою, що робить її доступною для широкого кола читачів, навіть тих, хто не є фахівцями у філософії.
