The conflict around Western Sahara (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic - SADR), a former Spanish colony that never achieved freedom and independence, has been going on for more than thirty years. According to international law, the people of Western Sahara have every reason to seek self-determination, independence and the creation of their own sovereign state. Moreover, the SADR has already been recognized by eighty (!) states of the world, but it still cannot realize its rights. The uncompromising nature of Morocco, which controls almost the entire territory of the SADR, the ineffectiveness of UN mediators, the passivity or double standards of the international community... This scenario, implemented in the spaces of the former Yugoslavia and the former USSR, has long been well known to the people of the SADR. Its history is in the collection of studies and documents “Western Sahara. Dedicated independence."
