In 1913, together with V.I. Semevsky, Melgunov organized the largest Russian historical magazine “The Voice of the Past” and edited it for 10 years (65 volumes were published). The trilogy “Revolution and the Tsar” includes the books “The Legend of a Separate Peace. The Eve of the Revolution” ", "March days of 1917", "The fate of Emperor Nicholas II after the abdication.
