Berlin is a city with an amazing destiny. Ancient, original, once very beautiful, by the will of fate it became the center of the most difficult war in world history. Traces of the not so long ago tragedy still remain not only in its architecture, but also in the souls of people. With a population of many millions and a colossal area, the capital of Germany is filled with monuments and at the same time poor in them, since all historical buildings have been reconstructed or are copies of previous ones. Nevertheless, the original palace buildings in the city have been preserved, and this book tells about them, as well as those that, unfortunately, ceased to exist after the Second World War.
