The publication includes the most significant works of the famous Jewish philosopher Martin Buber (1878-1965), whose work combined the study of the foundations of the Judaic tradition, the experience of religious life and modern philosophical thinking. The core theme of his works is that special state of personality in which a “dialogue” is possible between man and God, between man and man, between man and the world. The emotionally intense manner of painting and the constant effort to capture this “true” dimension of human existence create a high spirit of sincerity in his works. Most of the works included in this volume have been translated into Russian specifically for this publication.
