Martin (Mordechai) Buber (1878–1965) is one of the brightest and most original thinkers of the twentieth century, a philosopher and mystic, an ideologist and public figure, the creator of an important trend of modern thought - the philosophy of dialogue. Throughout his life, Martin Buber sought to reveal to the world a unique mystical experience of Hasidism. His most significant work on this topic is “Hasidic Stories,” the first part of which is presented in this publication. The book teaches that only in the dialogue of man with the Almighty is the Divine reality revealed and the cosmos acquires holiness.
