Howard Phillips Lovecraft is best known for his masterpieces of short fiction - The Call of Cthulhu, Dagon, The Dunwich Horror, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, The Lurking Fear and many others. But only a few fans of the writer know about his poetic heritage. Meanwhile, the contemporaries of Lovecraft himself - Robert E. Howard, Clark Ashton Smith and others - highly valued the poetic work of the famous “recluse from Providence,” comparing his poems with the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe. The collection included the most significant poems of Lovecraft, including the famous cycle “ Fungi from Yuggoth", related to the "Cthulhu Mythos", as well as those that were previously published only in letters. For the convenience of the reader, the poems are given both in translation and in the original language.
