The author's volume by Mikhail Armalinsky includes poetry and prose written both in the USSR and after emigrating in 1976. Most of the works of the scandalous writer are published in Russia for the first time. The main theme in Armalinsky’s work is a comprehensive artistic study of people’s sexual relations in all aspects: from rough casual intercourse to sophisticated love stories, as well as the problem of sexual adaptation of a Soviet emigrant in the free world. Taken together, Mikhail Armalinsky’s texts represent an example of a rare genre for Russian literature. Armalinsky became famous in the world as the publisher of the famous “Secret Notes of A. S. Pushkin”, already published in the “Russian Secret Literature” series.
