William Scott-Elliot (1849–1919), British amateur anthropologist, member of the Theosophical Society H.E. Blavatsky, is known to the reader as the author of the acclaimed essay “The History of Atlantis.” This book is a continuation of the author’s research into the deep historical past of our planet, the hypothetical place of the “cradle of humanity,” associated with the theosophical concept of the emergence and development of indigenous human races on Earth.
