The new book by the famous Caucasian scholar and publicist Stanislav Tarasov, which opens the series of the Library of the Russian-Armenian Commonwealth, is dedicated to the prehistory of the Karabakh issue. The collection of articles by the author reveals to the reader a complex web of intrigues, myths and outright lies formed around the Karabakh settlement not only over the last 20 years, but also going back to the 20s of the last century, when the forced Sovietization of the southern Caucasus laid the conflict foundation for many modern so-called "hot spots".
