"Principles of Archaeology" is an attempt to axiomatize archaeological science, i.e. reduction of its foundations to a small number of principles from which the whole variety of its laws, methods and concepts can be logically deduced. The author proposes to solve this problem by creating a dialectical archeology: to derive unified solutions from the opposing principles of interpretation and research logic. The book is intended for all archaeologists, but will also be of interest to representatives of other sciences.

"Принципи археології" - це книга, яка відкриває нові горизонти для розуміння археологічної науки. Автор майстерно акцентує увагу на основних принципах та аксіомах, що лежать в основі цієї дисципліни, і пропонує читачеві глибоке занурення в діалектичний підхід до археології. Книга не лише допомагає археологам краще зрозуміти свої методи, але й пропонує нові перспективи для представників інших наук, які можуть знайти в ній цінні ідеї для власних досліджень. Я вражений глибиною аналізу та логічною структурою викладення матеріалу. Це справжній путівник для всіх, хто цікавиться археологією, і я б рекомендував цю книгу не лише професіоналам, але й усім, хто прагне розширити свої знання про минуле людства.
