Economic development on the planet has come close to the depletion of natural resources. There are imminent world wars ahead for development resources and, moreover, for the survival of the most powerful states in the world. However, this is only part of the larger geopolitical threats. In the last few years, a new military term, the “genetic bomb,” has emerged to specifically characterize a new generation of biological weapons. According to the definition of Ph.D., Lieutenant General of the Medical Service (retired), one of the leaders of OJSC Biopreparat, V.I. Evstigneeva: “Genetic weapons are a type of biological weapon, the destructive effect of which is based on the use of the properties of genetically modified microorganisms or specially designed nucleic acid molecules.” This work examines an extremely pessimistic scenario of the unfolding secret world biological war, as a result of which, according to the author, the population The Earth may shrink to 1.0-1.5 billion people by 2025. The situation created in fundamental and applied biological science with deciphering the genome of humans and other species of flora and fauna is somewhat reminiscent of the era of the secret creation of atomic weapons in the 40s years of the last century. All this causes new unusual military, geopolitical and terrorist threats to humanity, including its white race, to which 90% of the Russian population belongs. A large place in the work is given to military and geopolitical issues of Russia’s survival in the modern world. Many questions require a better understanding of the “protective” role of secret management technologies in our world and, accordingly, the role of external scientific and technical intelligence. Yu.A. Bobylov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, looks at the current situation in the world taking into account the experience of long-term work in secret defense research institutes and design bureaus of the former USSR.
