This publication represents the most complete collection of poems by the outstanding poet of the 20th century Boris Alekseevich Chichibabin (1923–1994). He had a difficult fate: Vyatlag, restlessness after liberation, years of rejection, silence... Boris Chichibabin shared all the pain, worries and hopes of his people and survived. In his life and poetry, he professed the principle formulated by Beethoven (by the way, this is his favorite saying): “The only heroism is to see the world as it is, and still love it.” This is how he lived, this is how he wrote. The book also includes handwritten collections of the 1950s, comments on the poet’s poems.
