The entire long-term history of domestic foreign intelligence is closely connected with the fate of the country. Currently, when it comes to domestic intelligence, the 20th century appears mainly. Meanwhile, all historical roots are much deeper and date back to the beginning of the 19th century. At all stages of its development, foreign intelligence remained a reliable and effective tool for solving problems vital for the state. There were both serious successes and bitter failures. We have accumulated rich, sometimes unique experience in conducting intelligence work. In this book, we would like to tell readers about representatives of different generations of foreign intelligence officers and assistants, who with their work wrote golden pages in this history.
