Photographer Efim Fedortsev and artist Andrei Znamensky found themselves in the thick of the Georgian-Ossetian war. Massive artillery shelling, the clearing of Tskhinvali taken by surprise, the death of civilians - all this is happening before their eyes. War inexorably draws friends into its vortex.
