But few people know that his own destiny unfolded like an adventure novel. “Sentimental Journey” is an autobiographical book by Viktor Shklovsky, written by him in exile and published in Berlin in 1923. In it, Shklovsky talks about the events of the recent past - the revolution and the Civil War.
