The book offered to the reader is dedicated to one of the traditional institutions of post-Soviet countries - Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, which remains relevant in the socio-political reality of these countries. Unlike their predecessors, who assessed the clan organization of Eastern societies solely as rudiments doomed to die out during the modernization carried out in the post-Soviet era, the authors tried to show its constructive potential and directions of positive evolution.
