For the first time, the book publishes in full the memoirs of the aide-de-camp of Emperor Nicholas II A. A. Mordvinov. The first part, “In military court service,” covers the period before the outbreak of the First World War and is dedicated to childhood, training in the cadet corps, and the history of the Mordvinov family , serving as the personal adjutant of Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich, and later Nicholas II.
