Tanya Malyarchuk (1983) is the author of many stories and essays translated into Polish, German, English, and collections (including “How I Became a Saint”, “Zveroslov”, “Speak”), as well as novel "Biography of an Accidental Miracle". Since the early 1990s it has been rapidly gaining popularity in Europe. In 2013, she became the winner of two prestigious literary awards: them. Joseph Conrad-Kozheniowski (Poland – Ukraine) and “Kristal Vilenica” (Slovenia). Modern Russian critics compare the works of Tanya Malyarchuk with the best surreal stories of Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, which brilliantly combine absurdity and reality, and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung noted that her prose is “a screaming verdict in the style of the great Russian satirist of the 19th century Saltykov-Shchedrin.” The collection “Love - from”—the author’s first book publication in Russian, translated by Elena Marinicheva, a famous translator who has recently specialized in the latest Ukrainian prose—includes stories from the book “Zveroslov” and others, as well as essays.
