“Revolt against the Modern World” is the main work of the Italian traditionalist thinker Julius Evola (1898-1974). The book consists of two parts: the first is devoted to a comparative study of the main features of civilizations traditional in Evola’s understanding, and the second is an interpretation of the general meaning of history from time immemorial to the present day. The thinker demonstrates that the basis of all traditional civilizations is a connection with the world of Being, with the transcendent, and the emergence of the modern world is due to a consistent process of degeneration and decline.
