The largest Italian conservative thinker Julius Evola (1898–1974) explores the problem of race from the point of view of the philosophy of traditionalism. He points out the danger of a purely biological approach to “racial theory,” highlighting the so-called races of the soul and the race of the spirit. The works of different years included in the collection are serious studies that represent the broadest retrospective of the spiritual ethnic factor in world history.
