This book is not only about the favorite folk game - football and its native Dnepropetrovsk. This is not an extensive and comprehensive narrative about the history of the city and the development of football in it and in the world. This, finally, is not a memoir, although the reader will find in it episodes and stories from the life of the author and people close to him. This book is just small pictures from the past that the author was able to collect and witnessed over a period of more than half a century. This book is based on real historical events that took place in the world, our city and in football, and which cover a period of time from the beginning of the second decade of the 20th century to the present day in the new 21st century. The author obtained information about all this from a variety of sources, or of which, as mentioned above, he himself was a participant. The book consists of memoirs, essays, historical facts and statistics.
