This monograph is based on the lectures of Doctor of Buddhist Philosophy, Venerable Geshe Jampa Thinley, on the philosophical theory of Bodhichitta, methods of meditation for the generation of enlightened consciousness, as well as the practice of the Six Paramitas. Collectively, these teachings cover the Bodhisattva Path, explained in the context of the holistic Teachings of the Buddha and in the Lamrim system, the Teachings on the stages of the Path to Enlightenment. Of particular value is the Teaching published here, received by Geshe Thinley in an oral transmission from His Holiness the Dalai Lama XIV and His Holiness Panora Rimpoche and called the “essential instructions” of the Wensapa lineage (Gyaltsen Darma Rinchen - disciple of Tsongkhapa). In this case, these are practical techniques designed for meditation on the development of an equal mind, Bodhichitta, shamatha, 6 paramitas. When compiling the book, the texts of primary sources quoted by Geshe Thinley were used, as well as the writings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama XIV - translated into Russian and German. As a scientific apparatus, the book contains, along with notes by Geshe Tinley himself, also a commentary by the editor, with the application of Sanskrit and Tibetan terms corresponding to the basic concepts of the Teaching taught.
