Traces of a conspiracy seem to be everywhere. He runs from the palace and, hiding, ends up in the theater, where they are waiting for the arrival of an actor from the provinces to play the role of Richard III and he is given this role. But at this time, formal elections are being held in the country, where, of course, his robot double wins and the indignant people go out to protest. Police crackdowns and arrests begin. An artist who has become attractive to him ends up in prison. He tries to find and free her and runs into the author of the play, who leads him to the idea that Richard is not doomed to remain a villain and the ending can be changed. To do this, he needs to save his beloved. And then he begins to fight against his regime. Contains obscene language.
