Konstantin Ivanovich Beskov (1920-2006) occupies a special place in the history of Russian football. A renowned athlete and a favorite of the public, one of the sharpest and most effective strikers of Dynamo Moscow and the USSR national team in the late 1940s and first half of the 1950s, he became an outstanding coach, having made a real revolution in the understanding of this game, beloved by millions. The signature, “beskovsky” style of various teams he created, and above all the Moscow “Spartak” of the late 1970s - 1980s, the many players he raised who made the glory of Soviet and Russian football, generations of fans brought up on his art - all these are the results his work, or rather, his life, completely devoted to football. At the same time, Beskov’s identity has not yet been revealed, the authors of the book are sure. Tracing the life path of this “impossible”, according to many, person, they are getting closer to the solution to his character, to understanding the true scale of everything he accomplished.
