We know that ideological defeat is the most severe and that restoring the previous position in the minds of people is immeasurably more difficult than restoring cities destroyed by bombing. But be that as it may, restoring mutual trust is the only way to overcome the consequences of the past war and avoid the horrors of a new one. The peoples paid too high a price for lies in propaganda and for distortion of the truth to undertake them again in the future.
