The author tried to make the techniques for resolving contradictions developed by G. S. Altshuller more universal, so that with their help it would be possible to resolve contradictions from any field of knowledge. The book contains a minimum amount of text and a large number of pictures explaining each of the techniques and subtechniques. The material can be useful both for beginners in studying TRIZ and for teachers to demonstrate techniques. Examples can also be used to demonstrate other TRIZ tools.
