The dramatic events that occurred in the mountains of the Northern Urals on February 1-2, 1959 continue to worry millions of people. Previously, several dozen hypotheses were published and considered about the reasons for tourists unexpectedly leaving their tents and their death from hypothermia or injuries incompatible with life. The considered version presents an alternative view of the cause of the events that unfolded; a physical factor has been identified that caused injuries to vital internal organs, turning healthy athletes into unconscious beings; a criminal country has been named that creates existential threats to civilians.
