The historical novel “One-Indivisible” by the general of the Russian army, an irreconcilable fighter against Bolshevism, Pyotr Nikolaevich Krasnov, is being published for the first time in the writer’s homeland. The novel was written in exile and published by the Bronze Horseman publishing house in Berlin in 1925.
The novel takes place on the eve of the First World War and covers the most tragic years of the revolutionary break-up and civil war in Russia. Through the fates of the Cossacks of the Don village, officers of the Imperial Army, representatives of the St. Petersburg society, Masonic lodges and artistic bohemia, the author tries to comprehend the underlying reasons that gradually weakened and destroyed the moral foundations of society and allowed the forces of evil to crush Russia.
