In the series of spy stories “The Dead Sometimes Resurrect,” the action takes place in Russia and a number of fictional states in the middle of the current century (not so distant future). The heroes are employees of the Federal Agency for Effective Technologies, abbreviated as FAET (analogue of the modern SVR). The series consists of three books: “Operation Serpent”, “Indigo Aura”, “Ufologist”. “The Serpent” is about an attempt by certain figures to conquer the world with the help of an army of universal soldiers - clones.
