The seventies of the last century. The Moscow communal apartment with all the “incoming” and “outgoing” will unfold before the readers in four dimensions: the communal hell that is commonplace for residents, skillfully veiled and sometimes open hatred of neighbors, kitchen twisting diplomacy, eavesdropping at doors, statements to the police... The house was decided demolished, and residents began to receive warrants for new apartments. No longer able to tolerate the company of annoying and unceremonious neighbors, 26-year-old Nina Deryabina, without much hesitation, agrees to housing on the first warrant issued to her and becomes the owner of an apartment in an old building, previously owned by an elderly woman who disappeared to God knows where three years ago. Something inexplicable happens in the apartment: its former owner is reflected in the old mirror, Nina makes a friend from the next apartment, in which, as it turns out, no one lives. A “relative” unexpectedly comes to visit from Georgia, who is not her relative at all...
