Skin: myths and truth about the largest organ
after payment (24/7)
(for all gadgets)
(including for Apple and Android)
Our skin is the largest organ of our body in terms of area and mass, to which we either pay excessive attention or do not pay it at all. It is always before our eyes, with its wrinkles, scars, pimples, but, as a rule, we know very little about the work and role of our skin. Today we are haunted by a huge amount of advertising of cosmetic products for the skin, massages of all types and purposes, intrusive services of cosmetologists and aesthetic surgeons... But it’s not always possible to adequately assess the need for all these actions. In his book, Andrei Sazonov, again with a bit of irony, but nevertheless with an accurate evidence base, will talk about our skin - its functions and characteristics, the work of the dermis and the role of the epidermis, the positive influence (or not?) of massage, creams, tanning, tattoos and other “joys” of our modern cosmetic industry. Good skin is not a myth, but a reality! Achievable and enjoyable.
