The eighties, they have long disappeared behind the turn of history. But one event of that time cannot be forgotten by the inhabitants of the regional center in the south of the RSFSR. At the very beginning of the spring of 1988, an entire family was murdered in the city. The investigating authorities were powerless in the face of the dashing arrogance of the raiders, who put three adults and two children to death without any regret. Then the best friend of the victim begins his investigation, trying in a roundabout way to get to the truth.
