Starting with petty speculations, gradually getting involved in bold and risky operations, in the face of fierce struggle, Cowperwood acquires a fortune. Assertiveness, energy and talent make the hero a financial genius. Realizing the power of his accumulated capital and professional experience, Frank Cowperwood proclaims his life slogan, which gave the name of the entire trilogy: "My desires come first."
