Propaganda is present in any society and at all times. It can be political, or it can promote a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition or fashion. In different historical periods, propaganda comes along with religion or ideology.Most often we encounter political propaganda, for example, within the USSR or during the Cold War, when propaganda becomes the main weapon. Information wars, which the whole world is talking about today, also use propaganda tools. It is also present in electoral technologies, that is, everywhere where large masses of people are influenced. Information operations, psychological operations, operations of influence - all this is included in the arsenal of actions of modern states that organize their own attack or protection against someone else's attack.This and much more is described in our book, which is intended for students and teachers of the humanities disciplines, it can also be used in teaching media literacy in high school.
