The textbook discusses a short-term model of conflict-centered psychotherapy, developed on the basis of the psychology of relationships by V. N. Myasishchev - "Alexandrov's Analytical Cathartic Therapy" (AKTA). Psychogenetic analysis of the patient's life, his personality and pathogenic situation is supplemented by the use of elements of technologies based on catharsis: psychodrama, gestalt therapy and person-centered therapy by C. Rogers. The patient's stories about his problems are transformed into action through the imaginative technique of "dialogue with significant others". The method is used both for the treatment of neuroses and for the analysis of conflict relations of persons burdened with personal problems. The manual is intended for psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, students of medical and psychological faculties.
