My book is the author's look at the situation of a child's mental disability, in which more and more parents all over the world suddenly find themselves, and society as a whole is undergoing a transformation in connection with the acceptance of people with disabilities. As a mother of a child with severe autism, I use my knowledge, as well as my experience as an academic researcher, to speak in plain language about extremely difficult but very relevant topics. The destruction of parental lives, the myths around autism, social politics, modern ethics, themes of female addiction, images of motherhood, etc. Many of these topics are either taboo or presented in a very one-sided way.My goal is to show parents, that there are many more opportunities to look at different things happening in their lives and the life of their child than it might seem at first glance. I believe that knowledge makes us freer, opens closed doors, shows new ways. And this is exactly what parents in a situation of autism need so badly.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
