Вражаюча реконструкція шедеврів Шекспіра!
Ця книга відкриває новий погляд на творчість одного з найвідоміших драматургів в історії. Автори пропонують унікальну хронологію, яка пов'язує знамениті п'єси Шекспіра з реальними історичними подіями XII - XVI століть. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжнім відкриттям, адже я ніколи не замислювався, що персонажі, такі як Гамлет, Лір чи Макбет, можуть мати свої прототипи в історії. Зокрема, ідея про зв'язок Гамлета з Андрієм Боголюбським та короля Ліра з Іваном Грозним виглядає досить переконливо. Хоча деякі реконструкції можуть бути передбачуваними, автори намагаються підтримувати точність своїх датувань, що додає наукової ваги їхнім висновкам. Єдине, що може трохи заважати, це недосконалість перекладу, адже іноді зустрічаються некоректні фрази. Проте, це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
