One of the brightest French historians of art of the second half of the XX century Даниэль Арасс (1944-2003) in the small book first published in 2000 exposes to the intent analysis a few classic works of painting of XVI - XVII of centuries, including such reading-book, as "Venus Урбинская" Тициана and "Менины" of Velazquez.
