Alan Watts (1915-1973) - famous British philosopher, writer, lecturer, one of the most outstanding translators and popularizer of Eastern philosophy in the West, wrote more than 25 books. Watts is a student and follower of Daisetsu Suzuki, a Japanese Buddhist scholar, philosopher and psychologist. After Alan's son Mark Watts created the website alanwattspodcst.com, audio recordings of Watts appeared on the Internet, which can also be found on YouTube. “The Spirit of Zen” is Watts’ first book, written in 1936.
