All authors of the collection (except P.P. Lebedev) are A.S. Bubnov, I.I. Vatsetis, A.I. Egorov, N.E. Kakurin, S.S. Kamenev, M.N. Tukhachevsky, R.P. Eideman - were repressed in the 1930s. This publication does not include essays about the Soviet-Polish war.
