New Sheriff Bree Taggert is called to a campground that has been closed for the winter where a shooting has occurred. Захоплюючий трилер, який не відпускає до останньої сторінки!
Книга "Смерть близька" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у жанрі детективу. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги та загадки, яка тримає читача в постійній напрузі. Історія про нового шерифа Брі Таггерт, яка намагається розплутати таємницю стрілянини в закритому кемпінгу, вражає своєю динамічністю та непередбачуваністю. Взаємодія між Брі та підлітком Алісою додає емоційного забарвлення, а залучення колишнього працівника загону K-9 Метта Флінна робить сюжет ще більш інтригуючим. Кожна нова знахідка і поворот подій підсилюють відчуття тривоги, а фінал виявляється абсолютно несподіваним. Єдиним недоліком, на мій погляд, є деякі моменти перекладу, які можуть відволікати від загального враження, але це не зменшує цінності самої історії. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі детективи з елементами психологічного трилера!
