New Sheriff Bree Taggert is called to a campground that has been closed for the winter where a shooting has occurred. But the crime scene seems to be missing - there is no shooter, no victim, no blood... no one except, in Bree's opinion, the only witness - a homeless teenager, Alyssa. Alyssa claims that her friend has just been shot. Bree contacts Matt Flynn, a former K-9 unit worker, to use dogs to track the killer and find Alyssa's friend. But they find a new victim - the body of a missing student under the ice of a lake. When two more students disappear, Bree tries to find a connection between the victims. All she knows for sure is that these murders are fueled by rage and a desire for revenge. When Alyssa disappears, Bree must play a new game of death to find her.
